According to an old Hindu legend...

..there was once a time when all human beings were gods, but they so abused their divinity that Brahma, the chief god, decided to take it away from them and hide it where it could never be found.

Where to hide their divinity was the question. So Brahma called a council of the gods to help him decide. "Let's bury it deep in the earth," said the gods. But Brahma answered, "No, that will not do because humans will dig into the earth and find it." Then the gods said, "Let's sink it in the deepest ocean." But Brahma said, "No, not there, for they will learn to dive into the ocean and will find it." Then the gods said, "Let's take it to the top of the highest mountain and hide it there." But once again Brahma replied, "No, that will not do either, because they will eventually climb every mountain and once again take up their divinity." Then the gods gave up and said, "We do not know where to hide it, because it seems that there is no place on earth or in the sea that human beings will not eventually reach."

Brahma thought for a long time and then said, "Here is what we will do. We will hide their divinity deep in the center of their own being, for humans will never think to look for it there."

All the gods agreed that this was the perfect hiding place, and the deed was done. And since that time humans have been going up and down the earth, digging, diving, climbing, and exploring--searching for something already within themselves.

Welcome to the beginning of a new chapter in your life.   You are here because you know it's time to let go of the past so you can be present in the now.  Your soul is screaming at you to pay attention to the emotions you are feeling because it's time for you to wake up to who you are. It''s time to stop living in the past because you are yearning for a compelling future. Your time starts NOW. I guarantee you will enjoy this program and you will have an undeniable experience of change.  All you have to do is commit. 


The responsibility for the outcome of your Breakthrough is yours and yours alone.  I am here as your guide and support.  Coaching is a Do With process, not a do to process.  I can't do anything to you as I am not a magician.  If you follow my instructions  you will have an undeniable experience and you WILL achieve your outcome.

During the course I make several references to God.  Please understand that I have no particular affiliation with any religion or spiritual practice, nor do I wish to impose any particular belief on anyone.  I do, however, believe that we are connected to something greater than our physical body and conscious mind, a greater, divine intelligence if you will.  For me the name God refers to something that is beyond limitation and conscious comprehension.  God is mentioned in the context of teachings that support  this coaching program.  It is entirely up to you to decide what you believe.  It is only my intention to awaken within you a recognition of who you are and what is possible in your life. 

For the duration of this course I recommend that you keep a journal.  It doesn't have to be fancy, a notebook will work. You will need somewhere to record answers, make notes about the course and record your thoughts and experiences.  Lessons one, two and three are compulsory and must be completed before the Breakthrough begins. Make sure you understand each concept and complete any tasks before moving on.

I mean tapping into your god given power that allows you to control the circumstances of your life, all the time.  You were born empowered.  You may not be actualizing  your power it but you have it.

If you ask most people if they like Change they will say no.  Change is uncomfortable.  Change is stressful. They like things the way they are.  Change can be a difficult and challenging experience.  And the news is, you're hardwired for change.  Hard wired to always want more and more. You are Energy in motion.  Change is inevitable.  If you were aware of the process of change it's possible that when you're experiencing it, and you're in the trenches, you may actually have some control over it. Change is inevitable.  Whether it's because you desire something new in your life, or it's forced apon you by crisis, it is a part of life.  It's the process of the unfoldment of who you are.  I look at change as the step ladder to enlightenment. With each cycle you awaken more to who you are and what you are capable of.  Every experience has a higher purpose.  What is it?  Get the learning and move on.

Love Thyself

Foster Self love and Self care.  Self Love and Self Care are spiritual practices.  Both are an act of Self Awareness.   Most people don't love themselves.  Not loving yourself keeps you separate from who you are and separate from your potential.   It's not possible to accept yourself fully with out self love. Without self love you will constantly violate your beliefs and values because self love acts as a compass.  Living in fear is not self loving. 


Do this powerful exercise everyday for 3 weeks:  Stand in front of the mirror.  Look directly into you right eye and say "I Love You."   Then look into your left eye and say "I Love You."  By doing this you are looking directly into your soul, and communicating directly with your unconscious mind to change your belief from 'I don't love myself" to "I love myself."  Remember, your unconscious mind believes everything you say about yourself.  I promise that in 3 weeks you experience a powerful shift.    ( I do this daily )

Small Self Love Hacks to do daily-

  • if you feel negative LOOK UP AND SMILE, and BREATHE.  And hold that pose for a while.

  • eliminate negative self talk.

  • eliminate all judgement.  Just let things be.   Try this for one week.  Try 'not judgement".  Allow yourself to be a witness. Practice Loving Awareness.  Be conscious of your habits and programs and love them. 

  • eliminate decisions that do not contribute to your best and highest good.


  • eliminate activities that do not contribute to your best and highest good.

  • make others around you feel good about themselves.

  • take care of your body - eat nourishing food.   Get adequate sleep. Exercise daily. Meditate

  • take care of your mind - read nourishing books.


Practice Gratitude

Gratitude is more than just the thought of being thankful for what you have.  And while it's nice to write in your gratitude journal, the real power lies in bringing your body into a state of gratitude.  


There are three reasons why I practice gratitude. The first reason is because gratitude is a powerful way to connect to the divine, if that is what you are seeking.

The second reason is, gratitude forces us to focus on what is right right now.  You are training your Reticular Activating System to find more of what is right instead of what is not right. 

And the third reason is that gratitude has the power to immediately halt a stress response.  When you go into a state of gratitude you flip the switch and change your frequency.   Try being hateful when you are in a state of gratitude.  You cannot be grateful and hateful at the same time.  Same goes for sadness, or anger.  

Studies have shown that gratitude actually affect the physical world immediately, including the human body.  You can see this demonstrated in the video below which shows Dr. Masaru Emoto's famous "Hidden in Water' experiments.  

Practice gratitude daily so that it becomes a part of your routine.  Take a moment to sit quietly and focus your attention on your heart space.  Bring to mind things that you are grateful for.  Feel the feeling of gratitude.  Breath deeply into your abdomen and breath in gratitude.  Gratitude has the power to halt a stress response.   The state of Gratitude induces a deep sense of calm and activates the parasympathetic nervous system.  Gratitude is healing.  Gratitude is the ultimate state of receivership.

Find a place to sit quietly.  Get comfortable. Take a deep breath, relax and close your eyes.


Focus your attention on your heart chakra, and imagine all the things that had to happen that day to support your life. For example, if you enjoyed a cup of coffee for breakfast, think of everything that had to happen for you to have that coffee. Think of the person who grew it and the work they did to produce it. Do this for the clothes you wear, the house you live in, the car you drive, the food you eat, and every other detail in your life.


Imagine all the details of all the lives that have worked so that you could have the things you need or desire, so you can have the experiences you have every day, so that you are supported everyday to live the your life.


Do this for a minimum of 5 minutes, longer if you wish. Feel the feeling of gratitude in you body, imagine your cells lighting up, rejuvenating, refreshing. Now take some time to think of all the things you have done to support other people's lives. This is a very self-loving exercise. This is a more powerful way to experience gratitude than by writing it down. It brings gratitude into the body and you will notice a great shift when you do this daily.

The Gratitude Handle

Gratitude can be used as a tool to resolve irritation.  Look at your life and your current circumstances.  Pick something that is causing you to feel irritated.  This heightened irritation is a signal that this situation is calling for resolution.   To resolve it, consider that within this problem there is something to be grateful for.  You are looking for the learning.  If you search long enough it will appear. Be grateful for the learning.  The moment you find gratitude the irritation will be released and in it's place will be unconditional love. 


1. Pick a situation in your life that causes you irritation.  Write it down.

2.  Take two minutes to brainstorm things to be grateful for in that situation.  The trick is to do it quickly.  Don't judge your responses. 

3.  Read the list and really focus on it.  Get the learning.  Move on.

The Power Of Positive Emotions

Through the 1990’s, Dr. Masaru Emoto performed a series of experiments observing the physical effect of words, prayers, music and environment on the crystalline structure of water. Emoto hired photographers to take pictures of water after being exposed to the different variables and subsequently frozen so that they would form crystalline structures. The results were nothing short of remarkable.   What he observed was that water exposed to loving and grateful energy the water crystals arranged themselves into beautiful patterns.  Conversely,  when exposed to hateful and negative energy the crystals arranged themselves into chaos and disharmony. 


 Watch this video - then consider that your body is 70% water.  You have the power to change the chemistry in your body using your emotions.

Have you ever been in the market for a new car.  You go to the dealer to have a look at what's available.  A particular model catches your eye.  You want to take some time to think about it so you go home.  And on your way home you start to see that model of car every where.


You see, what you focus on expands.  You get more of it.  So what if you were to use this consciously in your every day life.  Is it possible that what you put your focus on you would get more of?  Imagine if your focus was on what you want instead of what you don't want? 


Read about The Power of Focus, then do this simple exercise.  Focus on the color Yellow, then see how many times you see yellow throughout your day.

Biology of Belief

The research in cell biology and quantum physics puts the power to create a healthy and joyous life back into your hands. Your genes and DNA do not control the outcome of your life. You can control your own destiny. When we transform our conscious and unconscious thoughts, we transform our lives and the outcome of our health!  Beliefs can change gene expression. They can cause mutant genes to read as normal genes – as well as normal genes to read as mutant genes; it all starts with what you believe. You have power over your biology and therefore the influence to maintain your health no matter what your DNA says.

This is amazing research. 30 years ago Bruce Lipton was ostracized from the scientific community because his ideas were considered crazy.  Now he is heralded as a genius and pioneer.  We've missed out on 30 years of his research.   Persevere through the book, decide for yourself what you believe is possible in your life, and begin your own search for the truth.

Mastering The Mirror

Know Thyself

Perception is Projection. 


Change how you see yourself and you change the way you see everything.  

When you understand how this works you will be able to begin a meaningful journey of self-discovery and learning, of self acceptance and self love. 


Perception is Projection, also known as the Mirror Principle,  is the idea that you everything that you experience in your model of the world is really a projection of your own perception.  


Carl Jung popularized the idea that what we see in other people is actually a mirror image of ourselves.  He said, “ Just as we assume that the world is as we see it, we naively suppose that people are as we imagine them to be.”   


So, what he is saying is that what we see outside of ourselves is at some level a reflection of who we are.   We only see others through the filters of our model of reality.

You are here to know yourself fully and completely.


As you become self aware try and make a list of the elements of your self that live in your shadow and in your light. Remember these are traits or qualities that are hidden from self.  

The True Nature of I AM....

The True nature of  'I am....." and how to make it a powerful force in your life.

How many times a day do you use the statement, "I am............."   And have you paid attention to the words you use after "I am...." .  It  typically sounds like this,  "I am depressed",  "I am sad", "I am unhappy", "I am stupid", "I am........", and the list goes on.  Rarely is "I am"  followed by positive, life affirming words. 

Words are very powerful.  They effect your nervous system.  They become what you believe about yourself.  Words create and determine  your reality.  Remember also that the unconscious mind controls and maintains all perceptions including self perceptions, and takes everything personally without judgement.  So when you say things like "I am stupid",  your unconscious mind doesn't respond with "oh, of course you're not."  It thinks, ok, I'm stupid.  I can do stupid. I'll just continue doing stupid if that's what you want. 

The words "I am......." also have profound meaning and can have a very powerful effect on your life.  So read the PDF below and do the "I am.............." exercise as part of your daily routine.

The words “I am” appear in ancient texts, specifically in the Torah, in the book of Exodus God tells Moses his Name. God say’s “ I am, that, I am. “ What he is saying is - I am God. I am THAT is the name of God. What it means is I am presence. 'I am that' , and 'I am that', and 'I am that', and 'I am that', and so on. And there is no place that I am not, and there is nothing that I am not. I am in all things that exist. I am the Dark and I am the Light. I am the invisible Divine intelligence within all things. I am the light that guides every being on this earth.


When you say, “I am…. You bring into your reality the force of the divine intelligence. You are putting this divine intelligence to work for you. So when you choose powerful I am’s you are empowering your life by making the Divine force work for you. When you choose words that are negative the Divine force is working against you.  Negative I am’s include things like I am poor, I am week, I am stupid, I am ugly, I am unworthy, and so on.


“I am” is the full activity of God and divine intelligence within. You must stand guard over your expressions in word and in action because every time you say, “I am not, I can not, I have not,” you are, knowingly or unknowingly, assaulting that divine presence within.   That presence within you is The Light that you are.   Light is the beginning of all form in the universe.  Light is the fastest moving energy in the universe.


Light is the divine intelligence within all things. We are more than a body, more than material flesh. We are a body of light. When we get back to the center of anything it is pure light.  It is the inner light of which Jesus spoke, it is the inner light of Illumination, Light is life. 2 “The light of the body is the eye. If therefore the eye be single the whole body shall be light. “ - Jesus.   What does this mean? If the eye looks out into the universe and see’s only oneness, see’s only love, see’s only kindness, see’s only health, see’s only prosperity, and that’s the only thing that you see, that’s a world of no opposites, no dichotomies, no up and down, no good and bad, no right and wrong, no east and west, no male and female, you will see an entire universe of just oneness.


See the oneness in all things the whole body will be filed with light. Find that light within your self. Live the light within yourself. We need, everyday to give gratitude to the I AM presence that exists within each of us. Discover the light within you, and when you connect to it, and live through it, you will live a life of purpose, love and intention. Look within your self and see what habits or creations exist that do not serve your highest good, pluck them out and dispose of them.


When you refuse to allow habits of judging, condemning and criticizing to exist you will find freedom to be the Light that you are. You have within you the Divine Intelligence. Perfect your own world by seeing perfection in yourself and in others (Perception is projection), see perfection in everything and everyone around you.


Make a daily practice of repeating to yourself, I am …….., and fill in whatever powerful and positive quality you want to empower about yourself. I am strong, I am powerful, I am kind, I am forgiving, I am love, I am confident, I am………………., and so on.


Task:  Make a list of all the negative 'I am's' you have said to yourself.  Become conscious of using them, and when you use them.  Under what circumstances do you tend to use them.   Now create a daily practice of repeating only powerful, positive and life affirming 'I am's".    Notice a profound change in your life when you choose to live as the Light.

Lesson Four

Becoming The Programmer

Who You Are is not really who you are.  It's just who you're thinking you are.


Buddha said – “We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.”


This idea builds on the concept of Projection is Perception, and also gives us a deeper understanding of how we can change ourselves to create the life we want.  Once you understand how your thoughts control the chemical cocktail of emotions that lead to your behavior you will find it easier to make the changes you need to make.  So read the material and complete the exercise - Identifying You.  Read James Allen's book As A Man Thinketh.  Take action to create the life you love.


The point of this lesson is to get you to pay attention to what you are thinking.  By making your thoughts conscious you then have the choice to change them.  This is extremely empowering.  Most of the time you have thoughts running through your mind and you just let them go without question.  From now on you have to pay attention to your thoughts.  If they aren't positive, if they keep you stuck in old patterns, notice them and make different choices.  You are in control of your mind.  You are the driver of your life.

What is a Belief?

A belief is something that you believe or accept as true. You might believe something based on a fact, an opinion or an assumption. When you believe something you might not have immediate personal knowledge but you are satisfied that something is the way it is.

Your beliefs are not necessarily correct or accurate, or even true.  Just because you believe something doesn't make it true. It might be true for you but that does not make it true for others. 


Your behavior is driven by your beliefs.  If you know someone's belief system you can predict their behavior.  Your unconscious mind will filter information and looks for evidence, or other experiences that will confirm and reinforce your beliefs.   Your beliefs are often your perception of the way things are and what you believe to be true. But this does not mean that your belief is actually true. 

You create your beliefs consciously as well as unconsciously and you hold them dear. You will also try to reinforce your beliefs constantly (unconsciously and consciously). Why? Your beliefs fulfil part of your need for safety and certainty.  You have created a whole system of beliefs that have formed your map of your inner and outer world. With out your map of reality you would be like a ship without a rudder. 

This map is called your belief system, a system that guides you in your everyday functioning.  As Johann Wolfgang van Goethe said ‘Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is’.

Here is the problem. As Frank Lloyd Wright says  ‘The thing always happens that you really believe in; and the belief in a thing makes it happen’.

Whatever you believe to be true will manifest itself into reality.  

Here are some great belief quotes. 

"Your reality is a reflection of your strongest belief.

"If I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely  acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have the capacity to do it at the time."

" You have to believe it to see."

What I'm getting to is this - once you realize that Beliefs are nothing more than accepted as truth, we can begin to examine what we believe and determine if our beliefs support us or hinder us.  And once we determine this we can begin to construct beliefs that actually serve us and make our life better. 

I am going to ask you to adopt some powerful beliefs that will help you in your work life, your home life and your social life.  They are extremely powerful and they will change the way you see others.  They are called the Presuppositions of NLP.   Next time you are in a difficult situation with a person at home, or at work try and step into their shoes.  Try them on.  Get involved in the bigger picture. Separate the person from their behavior and see them as they truely are, not as they behave.  This will really help you in all aspects of life.  



There is component of NLP that I found to be extremely powerful and it has changed the way I relate to people.  The NLP Presuppositions are basically convenient beliefs.  To get the most out of coaching we, as practitioners, are asked to accept certain beliefs that allow us to see beyond the personality and the behavior of our clients.  The benefit of this is that no matter who our clients are we can see them as already magnificent. 


While there are 14 presuppositions, I want to share with you just a few because I believe that they can make a difference in everyone’s life.


Respect for another person model of the world.  None of us share the same model of the world.  It’s not possible.  Our values, beliefs and experiences, the things that make us behave the way we do, are all different.  By respecting another view of the world we can accept them even if we don't agree with them. 


Therefore, to build relationships of trust and respect,  we have to have respect for the other persons model of the world.   For example – if a client says to me “ the aliens talk to me” I wouldn’t say ‘ well you’re crazy”. I’d say “what do they say to you.  This is so important if we want to truly understand the way others think.     In the classic novel To Kill A Mockingbird Atticus Finch said to Gem " you never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view, until you climb into his skin and walk around in it."

NLP Presuppositions provide the lens through which you can see the person behind the behavior, and you can walk around in someone else’s reality.


For example - my son, Harper, had just started school. On the first day of second term I dressed him in his winter uniform but I forgot to put on his tie.My husband dropped him off at school and when Harper realized that all the other kids had their ties on he burst into tears and was inconsolable for about 40 minutes.Kirk called me and told me what had happened.At first I was mad because I really wanted Harper to realize that it’s OK to be different. But from his 6 year old model of the world it was more important to look the same.  In that moment and in that context that was what was important to him.  So I just let it go and decided not to lecture him about being different but to support him in being the same. You see, just because I believe in something different doesn’t make it right for him.

People are not their behaviors (Accept the person: change the behavior.)  People are more than their behavior.  Behavior is simply who they are being in that moment, determined by what their model of the world is in that moment.   If you think back to times in your life where perhaps you have behaved in a way that you're not proud of, consider what was going on in your life at the time. Perhaps you were stuck in a stressful situation that you felt overwhelmed by, or that you couldn't handle.  This would represent an unresourceful state of being.  So your behavior in that context was driven by your current available resources.   You need to stat seeing the human being behind the behavior.   You need to start seeing people as whole, and good despite their current behaviour. 

Everyone is doing the best they can with the resources available.  (Behavior is geared for adaptation and present behavior is the best choice available. These are programmed behaviors that run out of our awareness. )  By this I mean internal resources which are emotional, and external resources which include our financial circumstances, our connections, our support.   

Every behavior is motivated by positive intent.  All behavior is geared towards gaining something positive.  Consider the behavior of a bully. The receiver of the bullying will suffer from the bullying behavior and call it 'bad', or 'evil'.  The bully is merely using the only behavior choice available to him to fulfill an emotional need that is not being met. The outcome is positive for him, not for the victim.'  (Accept the person, find another way to meet the emotional need, change the behavior.)


The map is not the territory (the words we use are not the event or the item they represent.)  Again we are describing different models of reality.  Two people can go to the same event, and one person’s description of the event will be different from the other persons description of the event.  Each persons experience of the same event will be different because of the way we filter information. 


You are in charge of your mind and therefore your results, (and I am in charge of my mind and therefore my results). If you aren’t making your own decisions some one else will make them for you.  We are talking about personal power.


People have all the resources they need to succeed and to achieve their desired outcomes. (there are no un-resourceful people, only un-resourceful states.”) – what we mean here is emotionally resourceful.  For example – when you are in fight or flight mode you go into fovial vision. You only have one choice. To run from the proverbial saber tooth tiger.  That’s un-resourceful.  When you are in control of your state you have many choices.  That’s resourceful.  You can help other people by helping them recover resources.  


There is no FAILURE, there is only feed back.  

You are a feed back processing machine.  We have to stop looking at failure as a bad thing.  Instead consider failure as feedback.  If you didn’t get the result you wanted get the feedback. Look for the missing piece of information that, if recovered and brought back into the equation you would improve the result. Failure is a catalyst for growth.


The law of requisite variety – the system/person with the most flexibility of behavior will control the system. 

By control the system I don’t mean OVER POWER THE SITUATION.I DON’T MEAN MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY. I don’t mean that you get what you want without regard for anyone else.  I also don’t mean you let people steam roll you or blow your boundaries or bowl you over.


By flexibility of behavior I mean you have the ability to chunk up, to see the big picture to determine what is the most appropriate course of action so that this situation turns out for the best.  Some people call it a win win but have you ever stopped to ask yourself, how do I create a win win.What is the process.   Flexibility of behavior is how you do it. If you can be more flexible than the other person you can always find a way to win.

Think of times in your life where, if you had just been a little bit flexible in your behavior or your thinking you might have experienced a different outcome.  Let go of your need to be right.  

Be careful what you believe in or one day you may have to believe in it.  It is wise to keep an open mind than a closed mind.   A closed mind is rigid and unbending. What happens when you find yourself in a situation where the only chance of you having a successful outcome is to violate your beliefs?Flexibility of behavior will always win.

During your breakthrough you will have heard the basic version of this incredible and cutting edge research.  This book gives it to you in detail, along with the exercises.  I cannot recommend these techniques enough.  In fact, I love them as much as meditation, maybe a little more.  Since regularly practising heart breathing I have definitely noticed that I can handle more and more with greater ease and less stress. Inner Engineering by Sadguru is really an instruction manual for daily life. 

You will be familiar with his teachings through your breakthrough as they echo much of what we have covered.  I recommend this book for the simple reason that it's the book you pick up when you're stressed, or in a crisis. It's a daily reminder to you that you hold the power all the time.

In my opinion Dr. Jo Dispenza is the most influential person on the planet today.  His work is ahead of it's time and his meditations are the best I have ever done, and I've been experimenting with meditation for 30 years. 

Read these book in this order. You will already be familiar with some of the concepts because of your breakthrough.

Greg Braden is a scientist and researcher who is primarily interested in marrying science and spirituality.  

When I first discovered his work about 10 years ago I had to rethink everything I had thought was true.  

Anything written by Greg Braden is worth your time.  This book is my favourite.


Quantum healing and quantum medicine are the future of alternative health and healing. 

This is a very details look at quantum physics and healing, and the mind body connection.


Bruce Lipton is the pioneering scientist behind Epigentics.  This is a must read for any who still believes that they are at the mercy of there genetic inheritance.  What he is saying that if you inherit a gene for a certain condition, you actually have control over whether that gene will be expressed or not.  

This is one of those books that completely annihilates everything you thought was true about genetic inheritance.
